The mile high historic town of Bisbee, a former copper mining town in the Mule Mountains of Cochise County in Southeast Arizona is now a thriving artist mecca and all around fun place to visit!
Once again, Bisbee is gearing up for another exciting and fun-filled weekend! Here are just some of the highlights...
The 11th Annual Copper Classic Car & Motorcycle Show is happening right on Main Street in Old Bisbee from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. Beautiful classic cars and bikes will fill the street and the public is welcome. Turn out (bring your cameras!) and enjoy the fun! Sponsored by the Bisbee Chamber of Commerce.
Don't forget the Bisbee Farmer's Market at Vista Park in the Warren District. There are more vendors as the weather warms, bringing fresh breads, olive oils and cured olives, goat cheese, eggs, locally grown vegetables and meats and plenty of crafts and other handmade items.
Paintress Gretchen's Armed Forces Art Show is this Saturday from 5 til 9 p.m. at the SamPoe Gallery at 24 Main Street. This is her third annual show this year. It's always a great party! She's been painting up a storm, and, the walls are full of her incredible and colorful work! Her shows are always a sell-out, so, if you've been wanting a Gretchen painting all for your own, don't be late!

Terry Wolf and Back Porch Swing will be playing on the patio of the Copper Queen Hotel on Saturday afternoon starting at 3 p.m. And, a repeat performance this Friday afternoon from 3 til 6, you can attend a "beach party" Photography opening at the Jonquil Motel, featuring the work of Marjean Happe.
